Tickets not received even though money was taken

I paid for the entries (money was taken from my account) but I have not received the confirmation entries - instead there is a notification that states ZIP code does not match billing address. I will wait a few hours for your answer, then will ask for a refund. Thank you.

The Devon House

The Raffle for the house ( million pound house) advertised by Omaze is once again advertised as a prize. Was there a winner previously? Did they hand it back? My concern is if it's a real competition why is the prize of an amazing looking house, being used again?

I bought a ticket. Money was taken but I didnt get a confirmation email. When the prize was announced. Guess what? You need the code on the confirmation email that I (or anyone) else never received. I messaged them prior to this and got no reply. This is dreadful

Not sure this is legit??

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I paid online for the raffle to win dream house in Devon , I got no email but money taken. Thats fine. Obviously did not win:( However 3/4months later they are advertising the same house again to win???? So I would assume that thousands of people have paid for the raffle so how come no one won the raffle for this particular house ? Lesson learnt for me.. dont think omaze is completely straight.

The winner has the option to take a cash prize instead of the home, so maybe that's what happened? In that case, they would be able to raffle off the same house.

No that's not true they can sell it but omaze are not buying it and giving full value to them instead

Do NOT trust them!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

All of their house draws have been won by people who are middle aged and who appear normal but are actually wealthy when you look into them (not the fake names they provide), I recognised one of the winners as a businessman who they falsely claimed to be called Ian something, Im not going to reveal his actual name but definitely a scam!

I think that as long as there are idiots to believe that such organization is legit, companies like Omaze should exist to deplete their pockets. Think about it: If you could run such nonsense, would you bother delivering real prizes?

What for? It is like a radio stations advertising to millions of listeners that one listener has won a trip of 1 month to Egypt. Do you believe that ? NO NO NO.

Because that winner would make no sense for the radio station since millions have heard about the "winner". That is all that matters .

Case closed. So *** yes, OMAZE IS a SCAM.

Credit Card Fraud

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Just after purchasing tickets on Omaze for the first time, the credit card used, which I've had for over 6 years, was charged over $3400 at an oout of state hardware store. Luckily, the credit card company denied the charge but I had to replace my card. Coincidence?

This just happened to me, too. Almost immediately after signing up for the drawing, I had 6 attempts from two different states and businesses on my card.

I had not used the card for anything else in several days and only to trusted places I used on an ongoing basis. I called the bank and they cancelled my card. The next day there were several more attempts. Then two days later I had several more attempts on my card.

All were denied by my bank, thank goodness! I will never contribute through this company again. The contribution was supposed to be going to a very worthy charity.

Next time I will just donate straight to the charity. The trouble of having to change a card, notify changes with ongoing recurring payments, etc is very aggravating.

I’ve been subject of fraud recently on 2 separate cards, the only purchase they both have in common is I’d just bought an omaze ticket! Cant be a coincidence…

Joe Blogs I remember the Jeans in the 1980s everyone had a pair

It's the same house, they haven't sold enough tickets to close the competition yet. When all ticket's have sold and they've made enough money they will announce the winner, although I'm pretty sure it will be someone already rich within their organisation. I doubt very much it will go to normal joe blogs!

Advertising

They are advertising the same multi million pound house in Devon that I bought a ticket for months ago and the deadline for buying tickets was in June. I wrote and asked who had won it. Never got a reply. How can they advertise the exact same house in the exact same location for you to win?? I would love an answer from Omaze that this is a genuine contest and you can win!w house.

False advertisement

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
An advertisement popped up for omaze space travel. I read the simplified rules below and the add stated that payment is not necessary when entering. After reviewing the reviews, they are requesting "donations" to enter or for a certain number of entries. I have also collect quite a few reviews stating that they do not follow through with confirmation numbers and officially ending the drawing (meaning they never actually give out the prize).

Should be easy to show its a scam (IF it is a scam) by checking on the property title of that Devon house that's on the market 4months after the 'lottery'. But space travel?

give me a break.

There has been giveaways for space travel (usually virgin) for a good decade or so now. We all know when you're going to fly: that's never.

Scam/Unauthorized Transactions

DO NOT DONATE THROUGH OMAZE!!! That company is a scam!!! I saw their cash and car sweepstakes and was interested but you have to donate to enter. I was a bit skeptical but thought why not because the website claims the donation goes to charity. I donated money and 2 days later I was seeing unauthorized payments through my transaction history. And I know it was from Omaze because that was the only thing I used my card for at that time. Luckily it was my cash app card and I turned it off. I also started reading reviews about this company making unauthorized transactions in peoples accounts. Please beware!!!! Do not donate!

The right thing to do

God has the last say in everything we do. I gave yes hoping I win but blessing those in need. If in fact if the money does not benefit those in need then I pray God steps in because that is the point if they are using this site to scam people when the tables turn no need to wonder why things in your lives have turned upside down. No need to wonder why you and your family are going through whatever the devil has planned for you. Do the right thing God Bless You.

Jesus was apparently a humble man didn't have any desire for wealth yet the Church legalised robbery and called it belief. The pope lives in luxury surrounded with gold and yet some of his flock live in poverty and he could use his wealth to end all the suffering in the world.

BUT he choses not to. Religion is the biggest Scam known to man and causes nothing but hate.

IT SHOULD BE ABOLISHED. There's no after life, when your dead your dead.

Cotswold house

If I was lucky enough to win the Cotswold home, could I swap it for a cash amount. The home being offered is in a flood plain and estate agents have been unable to sell it for the past 2 years!
